This, perhaps, isn’t really fitting for an outdoors webpage, but from time to time, topics bend back around to parents, parenting, and the seemingly lack of effective parenting (this is debatable I bet). As some of you know, I spend time doing one of three things, being outdoors, BBQing, and training adults (teachers, counselors, parents, grandparents, etc.) that work with kids. Now that both of my girls are in school full-time, I’m “dropping the reigns” so-to-speak on this whole speaking gig. If you know of a contact, or a facility (school, church, community organization, etc.) that would like to hear about how to stack the deck in our children’s favor; in order to bolster the ground of not only their future, but society’s as a whole, please let me know. Here’s a recent article of what I’ve been up to in the LaCrosse region:

I trust that comments remain respectful and that we don’t use names of our neighbors. But, in true IDO fashion, BK is not off limits.
