Panoptix (Not livescope)

I have both Panoptix & Livescope. My original plan was to sell the Panoptix unit, but now I’m using it exclusively on the ice, and Livescope stays in the boat.

Yes, Livescope offers better image quality. But, for me, that improvement is not worth the extra weight and battery consumption on the ice.

In all seriousness, if Panoptix doesn’t help you find & catch more fish on the ice…..you would be wasting your money on Livescope anyway.

I’ve owned both, Panoptix has its places (slightly better deep water performance, slightly better forward range for finding schools) but the 6-7 lbs difference is worth the superior return signal clarity, bottom separation and screen size upgrade of Livescope imo…
