Serious question as I have never used Garmin products before but am intrigued after watching a few videos. What do you need to make this work on ice?

    93sv+ Ice Unit $999 (or 73sv+)
    Livescope unit $1500
Does the pole system come with?
Does a protective bag/case come with?
I’m guessing a simple 12v battery comes with, but maybe not?

*does the 93sv+ fit on a marcum shuttle?

Are there other things you need to add to make it function properly?

    TIA

That’s why I’m wondering, I think and could be wrong that has an open water transducer and would have to buy at the very least an ice ducer of possibly a totally different unit (93sv plus)?

If you bought the ‘Ice Bundle’ from Garmin directly you get all the you require for ice fishing. A nice upgrade is getting a lithium battery from either Amped or Dakota. If you need more info than you can ever imagine join the acebook group Livescope Addicts https://www.facebook.com/Garminlivescopeaddicts

I am guessing it will be the same $1500 for the ducer.

Just found out why I couldn’t see my jig when aiming it straight ahead. I was using the “supplied” 8 degree trolling motor clamp so everything was shooting off to the left. Just ordered the 0 degree.
I thought I was going nuts last weekend when I could only find my jig off to the left. It probably woulda helped a bit to get directly on top of the schools. doah

Have you tried using perspective mode? I bought the summit adjustable mount but have not been out to use it yet.

    My setup:
    93sv plus
    Livescope
Summit XL fishing bag and shuttle
    Summit tripod and pole collar.
I use a sectional Intex kayak paddle/pole I had laying around. Sections can be added or taken off depending on ice thickness. This slides through the tripod and the collar holds it in place.
Ridgid 9ah drill battery that powers everything with an adapter I purchased off eBay.
