Don’t forget about the late ice action for gills and crappie in the next few weeks.

I have been out on the lake 3 of the past 5 days and yes, the fish are hungry.

Most of the fish I have iced are coming from 10-15fow. Smaller profile lures seem to be the ticket tipped with a spike or two.

The action has not be wild per say, but for the most part, it has been pretty steady action.

The ice seems to be holding up very well with these warmer temps with a small amount of water on the top.

The worst that I have noticed is the landings as they are getting a bit soupy.

If you love panfish action, now it that time to hit your favorite lake for some late season action.

How can one beat a day on a pa running and gunning in the near 50’s?

    Good luck.

I was out on the Croix the other night after work and the crappies were on the chew

The Croix is a river I have always wanted to fish. I have to get their at least once before I am looking up.
