Question On White Bass

Hey guys I was just looking back at my fishing log on my droid and noticed some thing. If you were in shallower than like 10 ft of water all you would catch was little 5-7in dinks. We were catching nice 11-16 inchers in like 11-13 ft of water suspended about 7-8 ft down. Any deeper than that and it was mostly all dinks again. I am just wondering if you guys have any ideas why the better fish were holding in that middle depth zone. Thanks for the help guys.

It must have something to do with the body of water. I caught some big White Bass last fall on Pool 2. The majority of them came from less than 5 feet of water.

Catch a lot of white bass in the spring wading for walleyes in 5 foot of water or less. Summer they seem to suspend more over open water. When ever I have gotten into nice white bass the shad aren’t too far behind.
