Can anyone tell me if the White Bass fishing in the spring on Lake Pepin is as good as it is later in the year (1st couple of weeks of Sept.) and what dates are typically better? I have been fishing for them in Sept for the last 21 years and was wondering if fishing for them earlier in the year is another option.
Not sure what Sept is like , but the south end at LaCaupolis is running pretty strong the first of Aug and also up at Evertts at the dam area on the wisc side is pretty much non stop action but I cant remember when i was there, I beleive it was Aug…

We fished up there the week after Labor Day and did not do well at all. I was wondering what the white bass fishing was like in the spring.
