A slow day with Gracie

Gracie and I got out for a couple hours late this afternoon. We had just got her line baited and in the lake when I started baiting my jig. Wham her bobber took a dive and stayed down, she wasn’t paying attention so I grabbed her rod and swung for the fence then handed it off to her. After a little battle we were on shore getting ready for this picture.

The rest of our time was mostly sitting and talking while we watched bobbers. I did catch one that was about 5″ but it was dwarfed by her 8 1/4″ bull. She really handed it to Grandpa today.

Excuse the picture it was taken with my cell and we were in the shade, I had to mess with the brightness and contrast a little to get it viewable. And I didn’t want to keep the fish out of the water for a second picture.
