Blue gills on fire

The blue gill princes and I found ourselves at the city lake this afternoon. We didn’t get out early because we attended a 4th of July party last night and by the time we got home she was too pooped to pop.

Anyway we started fishing about 11:00am in what we call our #4 spot and although we had some trouble with her technique we did manage to catch a few gills for the pan. But when we made our way down the bank a couple hundred feet to what we call our #2 spot we couldn’t keep the lines in the water long before we got a bite. Even with her tangling her line with mine a few times, we managed to catch about 25 and a couple channel to boot. Sixteen of which we brought home with the two channel.

That is her birthday present I gave her last month in her right hand, I’m glad she uses it instead of the Barbie pole she won at a derby on her birthday.

It’s moments like that you store in the memory bank forever.

My wife and I are looking forward to our first grand child

Gracie is our first grand child, then last month we got number two and three. I can’t wait for the four of us to hit the water. Heck my wife is starting to get the itch again.
