Activity on P9 beginning to heat up after last weekend’s fly fest. Had some WB just pulvarizing those good ole Mepps Comets this afternoon. oz for oz one of the toughest tugs on the river. Stuck to main channel rocks with a fair amount of flow. Bouncing 5″ lunker grubs downriver in 2′ of water was producing both LMB & SMB. Size was an issue but quanity was just absurd. Clarity an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Very cool and too much fun!

Last summer I had one that made me say, “Crap, dang sheephead”. I went from slight disappointment, to recognizing it was a nice size Whitey and major anxiety I might lose it.
