Tearing up the Shad!

    Driving along the canal yesterday and noticed shad busting all over waters surface. First cast, fish on. I made about 30 cast and caught a dozen fish. The action stopped as fast as it started. The Whities were caught on lipless cranks.They were all cookie cutters. What a blast.

    Great job!! Reminds me of when I was little and dad and I would chase the gulls all day. Man, we used to catch a lot of those white bass.

    Sounds like some fast action. That makes for a fun trip even if it doesn’t last long.
