    pics including my biggest perch ever from trip last Oct.
    caught on pointer jerkbait in some thick cabbage.
    just over15″ what does a big perch eat? 2 tiny rockbass
    caught about 15 that day with a few doubles!
    perch are a blast…

    Sept and Oct here in Ny is the time to get them! Guys were all fishing out deep and on the bottom, small lake, I could hear everybody talking about how slow it was. I just went down the wedline with pointers and husky jerks… everytime down there… If I didn’t catch a fish then I would stop the lure, A perch or walleye was behind it everytime.
    Anybody want to hit some great fishing next fall in NY… head east and call me!
