My #1 bait for White Bass, is a BFT Paddletail in the Great White color. Rig them on a Precision Jig head and hang on. They can’t get enough of it. BFishN Tackle – Paddletail
Yes, a simple cast & retrieve will get the job done. Sometimes, a slight pause can push finicky Whites over the edge.
I’ll use Black, White and Purple/Pearl as my mainstay heads. Sometimes I’ll try a Chartreuse Sunburst if my other colors fail to produce. 90% of the time, I’m using a 1/4oz Black Precision head. The plastic keeper goes a long ways in keeping the Paddletail in the correct position.
