    Thanks for Posting all your feedback yesterday. I emailed a DNR Officer and got a response back this morning. Turns out it is a hybrid sunfish. Either a Green Sunfish and Bluegill or Green Sunfish and Pumpkinseed. From the pattern on the bottom and your responses I would probably say its a Green/Pumpkinseed. It weighted in at 1lb 3oz and touched 10 inches so no record but close. Either way it was a pretty sweet fish to bring in. I put up some more pictures so take a look.     Nice pictures…now we know what pole, what color line, what color grub and what kind of beer to use to catch sunnys like that !

    That’s a bluegill/green sunfish hybrid… beautiful fish!!
