    show me a crappie over 16in the biggest i have ever caught/seen was 14/15 inches

    Didn’t say a 17er was a common thing .But I have got one so far this spring and have got a few over the years.

    i caught a 17″ 5 or 6 years ago and my dad caught a 16″ the next night.3 or 4 acre neighborhood pond casting a white and red mepps parrallel to the shore
