Just a little sampling of Wednesday’s catch. Hit the Mississippi solo from shore right here in the Metro area. Caught around 30 crappies fishing from 11am-2pm. Majority of the fish where caught on a 1/16th feather jig, occasionally tipped with a waxie. Most were in the 9″-11″ range with a few smaller ones mixed in and a couple of 12 inchers caught, as well. The crappies were relating to a man-made structure out of the current in about 10 FOW.
