For those of us that are able to get out a bit, we already know this, but the sunnies are spawning now and are actively guarding the nests. I took my other half out last night for some shore fishing on Keller and was able to get her into a mess of sunnies. They weren’t big, but they were biting fast enough for her to stay content and enjoy it. We had most of our luck on 1/32 ounce flu flus in white and white/chartruese under a bobber tipped with a worm. The largest were around 7.5 to 8 inches, but schooled up enough to have fun and keep the bobbers bobbing.
