Dont see many people fishing with these. Fell in love with these reels about 10 years ago. By far the best pan fish reels I have found. Its a MT-100. Marado made the 1st ones I bought. Cant seem to find them anywhere now. South bend and a few others make some similar one now. The new ones are pretty decent but I favor the Marados. Paired up with 2# test and a light rod I havent found a better combo.
How the drag is set up on these or maybe the lack of any real drag at all is my favorite feature. A clicker serves as the main drag keeping even some hard hitting pike from causing line problems. Other than that its just your thumb. You do need to be pretty fast with the thumb if you get some hard hitting fish or sudden runs but for panfish it is great.
Other than my neighbor I have never seen any one else use these. Some one must of tried one.
Forgot to mention they sell for about $10. 
If anyone ever comes across any Marados I would be happy to buy them.
