What is your go to pan fish bait. Minnows, waxies, spikes, plastics? There seem to be a lot of options out there now a days. What about favorite way to rig those baits?
Mine is Euro larve. Most trips that is all I bring. A can in the pocket is way to easy to carry around. These work great for crappies and sun fish and perch. Mostly I use them for crappies. They are very easy to get many fishing trips out of also. 2 to three on a jig works just great. No bobbers, watching the Mercom and rod tip gets the job done most times. Just need to be super fast on the hook sets.
Least favorite bait is minnows. Hate broken buckets, frozen containers of minnows and finding thawing out buckets in the spring.
Last few trips Shrimpos have out fished the eoro larve hands down for crappies. No bait. Just the shrimpo. Im starting to think maybe I dont need to bring any baits fishing at all. This would be way to easy.
