Here are some nice little 1.5″ sunfish-sized leeches. They’ll fit nicely on a 1/32 collarless head cast on a #8 hook.

I got it in my head to make a lamination plate for the leech mold, actually a tail mold for a different bait, and tried my hand at a split color leech. The tails filled about 2/3 full and I don’t want to alter the mold so I came to a dead end of sorts, but then decided to see what would result using the short pours. I injected chartreuse pepper over the pearl and ended up with a two color bait that literally created its own tail color. I can live with that.

That minnow was an experiment too. The purple color comes from an additive made for mixing custom automotive paint. Its a powdered product that puts a purple shadow over an existing color of paint. Its cool stuff to work with in plastics. In the sun that purple looks about four feet thick.

Your work looks impressive again! And if they work as well as what I got from you, I may have to find you and get some!
