Does anyone know what those strips are that come in a small tin and you can cut to length? Supposed to be really tough for fish to pull off.

Try pulling the skin off chicken thighs and cutting them into sizes slightly smaller than a waxie or spike (they swell up in a brine solution) I like making bloodworm imitations too, take the strips roll them in canning salt and put them in a cope tin (cleaned) with a teaspoon or so of water, to really make em fancy you can put garlic salt or cod oil in the tin and color the strips with food coloring, salmon spawn cure is dynamite too for curing the strips, they are super tough and the more fish you catch the more they get little frays that move constantly, I’d put them against ANY finesse plastic in a heartbeat
