Big river crappies are not at all shy about what they chomp on, size-wise. Sooooo, I am going to try feeding them these animals next spring.
These are 3″ in length and the body is 1/4 inch diameter. The tail web is fairly thin so the tail button has plenty of action. The real beauty of the bait is that a guy could concievably go fish larger fish with them in the early morning and then tackle crappies using the same bait later in the day.
