I am doing up a cold water box with six colors of these tube numbers which will get a workout late this fall. I am still toying with an idea or two regarding an amber and haven’t decided yet on what I want to do with it, but these 5 are in the box now.

The amber I mention can be seen on the belly of the hot orange tube in the pic. The amber is laced with three colors of glitter and a little gold hi- lites to give it some internal light reflection. While it is a great color all alone, I am thinking in terms of partnering it with a chartreuse

I guess these have a place in that box too.

I got to thinking that a person should have a nice smoke color or two in the walleye plastics so today I made one up.

The bottom color is a blend of several clear colors with glitter. There are five different glitters in this along with some subtle violet hi lites….almost a thin cotton candy color.

The top is a medium smke with a pile of garnet glitter in it. Just a smidge of the violet hi lite is in there but it doesn’t come out in this pic. Actually the pic doesn’t do the top color jusice. In the hand it looks about like a ripe bing cherry but sparkling.

Tomorrow this cherry color is going to go on top of chartreuse to see how it looks.

I added some red hi lites to yesterdays mix and then shot the cherry color over a chrtreuse. Turned out real nice.

Today’s picture shows the cherry color and the smoke under tones nicely. The shad at the top has a junebug back and is 1.75″ for color and size comparisons.
