    will catch fish?

    or these?

At 1.75″ in length I think they’ll tease some crappies into hitting. We should start to see some crappie activity along the rocks on lower Pepin soon and these will get a workout when we hit our pet summer area.

Lookin good Tom, It’s great to see you have the knack. If those baits don’t catch fish they ain’t hungry.

Tom, I really like that subtle sagging belly on those. Very nice profile!

Those won’t catch a thing. You should send me the entire lot and I will dispose of them for you.

I don’t make any walleye sized baits.

This minnow mold is tough to get anymore. Of all my molds this one is perhaps the most challenging to work with since the mold shoots the two sides instead of a top and bottom. The tail creates the conflict there. I have to shoot as many baits as I want in two colors in the belly color first, then I have to cut off the portion of the belly I want on the baits and re-load the mold with those pieces. When the cavities are filled with belly color pieces I clamp the mold and shoot the top color. Lots of time involved in the baits shown. Fun to create, if time is there to putz around.
