Got out a couple times with the kids this weekend, as there was no sitter available for opener, which turned out to be an absolute blast! Both days were beautiful, and my boy at only 2 1/2 is really getting in to it already, I couldn’t be more proud of them!!!

1/32 oz hair with 1″ gulp minnow = nonstop fun for everyone

I’ve always said there is nothing better than getting out fishing with your kids. Walleye will still be there in a week or so, memories like this last a lifetime.

I’ve never caught a walleye that made me smile like I did when he held up his first crappie, the right way lol! His sister who’s 1yr+ older than him wouldn’t even THINK about touching one! He kept saying after each fish came over the edge of the boat “lemme put ma finger in his mouf daddy” lol! I couldn’t get enough, By day two- he was all pro as you can tell
