9″ metro gills

    While crappie fishing a metro lake I have been catching some real nice bluegills and decided to take some pictures of them…I am really looking forward to catching them in their spawning colors a little later in the Spring.

    Tried Gulp minnows but they really liked small 1″ tubes under a bobber.

    Boy do they look plump. Nice fish. Just looking at them makes me wonder if they have a hard time swimming.

    Yes, we did managae to catch quite a few crappies but not as big as the gills.
