    The Monroe county bogs are starting to produce some pannies.
    The custom jigs and spins #12 Froggie Diamond jig jig tipped with a 1” Gulp Alive Smelt minnow made for 10 keeper crappies, 9-10inches and 10 keeper gills at 7.5-8inches, just right for a great fish fry.
    The fish were not stacked and staying mobile was key to staying on a bite. 5-9fow held the scattered finned critters.

    Were you fishing that under a slip float or working it as a jig???

    The jig was kept within a foot of bottom under a slip bobber. Anything off bottom was ignored.
