crappies, sunfish and bass

    The three of these having been keeping me entertained lately. Yes, the bass are out of season and get put right back but they don’t seem to read the regs and like to horn in on the feeding crappies.

    They’ve been high in the water column over 8-12 feet of water where I am fishing and seem to have a bent for plastics already and some are larger than many might expect. These plastics are 1.75″ in length and have been part of the arsenal of plastics that have absolutely smoked the crappies over the last two weeks.

    Any hints on where your getting the crappies?

    Sure….the crappies are wet. Help any?

    All kinds of water around that has a crappie bite, some better than others, but no I don’t speak in terms of direction or location. Not riight now anyway. I keep things quiet until after they spawn.
