Brian KlawitterKeymaster Minnesota/Wisconsin Mississippi RiverPosts: 59992 January 9, 2012 at 10:28 am #1025947 Careful Ryan, there’s killer whales that come through the ice and take out fishermen up there!
mplspug Palmetto, FloridaPosts: 25026 January 9, 2012 at 10:56 am #1025951 And don’t get me started on polar bears!
mplspug Palmetto, FloridaPosts: 25026 January 16, 2012 at 12:42 am #1028224 I swear I caught these. Selective harvest too. I pretty much just kept the first 6 fish I caught. The rest went back. If I would have released all the panfish this size, I would have come back with nothing, because the other fish were potato chips.

mplspug Palmetto, FloridaPosts: 25026 January 16, 2012 at 1:03 am #1028247 Jarrett says the lake is so good even I could catch nice fish. How could I pass that up?
mplspug Palmetto, FloridaPosts: 25026 January 17, 2012 at 2:00 am #1028747 Nice auger picture too. I am kind of digging some of the ice fishing pictures that don’t have fish in them.

Brian Robinson central NebPosts: 3914 April 30, 2012 at 8:59 am #1063800 My biggest crappie to date, this one went 16 1/4″ Saturday. Released so I can catch her when she’s 17″.
SharonModerator SE MetroPosts: 5455 May 22, 2012 at 6:52 pm #1070170 I caught this giant crappie while fishing/camping with my husband and my Dad (Rootski here on IDO) last weekend.
SharonModerator SE MetroPosts: 5455 May 23, 2012 at 6:01 pm #1070517 Well we didn’t weigh it. But it was 15″ long and pretty thick, so we’re thinking it was probably pushing 2 pounds. It was a lot of fun to catch!!
foxman79 Anoka, MNPosts: 147 May 31, 2012 at 4:48 pm #1072563 The first photo is from a morning with 6 other guys (Keep in mind that releasing a gill is a violation on this lake, seriously) The second is my 9″ pumpkinseed caught right in the metro.
mplspug Palmetto, FloridaPosts: 25026 June 1, 2012 at 12:01 am #1072729 Pssst. There is a walleye that snuck in with your gills and is eating them like the big bad wolf!
