    I was able to sneak out of the house for an early christmas eve fishing adventure. I believe Santa was by my side today as I was able to ice my personal best Blue Gill. Caught on a White Glow Brite Diamond Jig from Custom Jigs and Spins, tipped with a purple nuggie and one single Larve. I didn’t pinch the tail so I think I might have a little bit more of an 11″ gill here, but nonetheless its still swimming and I am still smiling.

    Definetly north.Way north? Maybe,but we have no snow in the bottom half of Minnesota! I’m guessing no. Wisc.

    Thanks. I have been chasing a gill like this for at least 5 years, I hope it doesn’t take me another 5 years to catch an 11″ gill in MN.
