What colors are working best? Do you tip the jig with anything else?

I have been doing well on crappies and panfish as of late and I haven’t seen any need whatever for tipping with live bait at all.

I just purchased a plastics mold that makes a mini mite body with a couple small changes to the overall look, primarily in the body section. I’ll be shooting some of these shortly and hope to have some to try yet this fall season. Mini mites are a great bait but the jig is junk and you can’t get replacement plastic unless you buy a 16.00 “kit” with some jig colors you probably don’t want….frustrating.

    Tom –

I would be interested in your “bait”

We share the same opinion about the extras.
