anybody got a formula for worm bedding. something that will hold them over for more than a month. i know temp is the most important thing but i’m not all that impressed with store bought bedding. seems like it is not as good as it use to be. i’m saving all the coffee grounds and potatoe peels. Thanks!!

Trapper, i have found the best worm bedding & cleanist is Sphagnum moss. try http://www.moserlee.com a little pricey but you get what you pay for. the stuff is outstanding. Hairjig

There is a book back in print, that is called “Lunkers Love Nightcrawlers”, from the Fishing Facts magazine, it has all the answers for bedding, and worming. you can’t go wrong. Jack.

I used a mixture of shredded paper I buy by the box real cheap and good ole dirt. They keep quite well in this and I package them the same way.
