White Bass?

    Anyone out there found any white bass through the ice yet?

    Wish I could answer your question but I don’t know the answer. But I do have a question for you. Are there any good shore fishing spots in Northfield during open water season in the river there that a person could take an 11 year old grandaughter to fish? I have 3 grandkids who live in Northfield and enjoy taking them to the Fairbault lakes but a close fishing fix really close by there would be great too. Thanks, Bill

    Check out lake Byllsby in Randolph. That is a short drive from Northfield.

    Bill I work in Northfield and catch a few eyes below the dam every year.A good area is behind the wastwater plant north of town,deep holes there,pike and eyes like it there early in the spring.If you dont care what tugs your line the carp are always hungry.Stuart
