Merrick State Park?

    I was out fishing in the park today. And have never seen that number of people out fishing today. Everybody must have this week off I got there at 9 and left at 11 and i will bet there were 30 guys in the one spot. As for the fishing it was pretty fast pace if you like catching small fish. We did mangage a few keepers but I was wondering if anybody else on IDO has fished the park this year or not?

    earlier in the year they were getting a lot of tip ups mostly bass but recently it has slowed down quite a bit

    I was in the park last week and it was a slow bit. The fish I did catch were small, and without a spring bobber you wouldn’t know you had a bite. I would try the other bays on the lower end to get away from the crowd…

    was out last night, it was very slow..all small. The channel lost alot of ice.
