Just checking for any report on #8 backwaters. I’m assuming there should be a good 10″ even if its under slush, but thought I should check first. Also, curious if anybody ever drags a sled back to mink slough in the winter…or even just fishes at Miller’s corner at the intersection of Hwy 16 and 26?
    thanks!

Last two days has found the backwater slush completely frozen and everywhere I walked and drilled I had 3 – 10 inches under the frozen slush. Still need to use a ton of caution because some of those three inch areas had 6-9 inches before the water went up the slush came and the melt took place, so there are probably still some very dangerous backwater areas.

There’s been a couple vehicles there fairly regularly. Not sure what they’re doing out there, but they walking out on Miller’s pond.
