POOL 7 AND 8 ‘GILLS AND CRAPPIES

    TAKING A FRIEND WHO SELDOM FISHES OUT THIS WEEKEND AND I KNOW HE’D LIKE TO GET SOME PANFISH. ANYBODY WHO’S FINDING ‘EM IN POOLS 7 OR 8? BACKWATER SLOUGHS? CURRENT? WOOD OR WEEDS? DEPTH? JIG SIZE AND COLORS? LIVE BAIT? ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED–HE THINKS I PANFISH ALL THE TIME BUT I’VE NEVER TAKEN HIM OUT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.

    Backwater sloughs with lots of snags. I caught at least 100 a week ago; however, they did come in all sizes and I only kept enough for a pot of Sunfish Soup.

    Always did good not far from the main channel just find the brush
