It started up with media oocca action Fri but heated up as the sun got higher. 60 specks 9 up to 13 inches & kept 12 respectable gills. We caught fish in the normal migration areas & most were already there.
My question is are any of you catching fish in the main heavier currented areas with wood present? {John}
Just returned from fishing Pool 5A last week. The Sunfish bite was hot, but I caught most in the backwaters fishing large snags.
I did catch a few nice ones in the back channels fishing bottom in front of a large snag. There is current in the spot so we generally out the corks away.
The current I fished was moderate. Areas nearer the main channel with stronger current didn’t produce.
