Today I hit a backwater cut just off the main channel. Their is a giant tree that is submerged in ten feet of water. I slib bobbered all the cracks and crevices pulling up at leat 40 crappies today. I kept ten of them that made the ten inch mark. The majority of the crappie were 8-9 inches. I also pitched my bobber out into the cut and caught at least ten nice bluegills. I hunkered down and stayed in the same spot for five hours tied off to the tree. Nice day to be on the water. The pictures kind of suck, still working on my photography skills.
