Anybody having any luck on gills in the dubuque area? Even north up to casseville? Any info on this area, equipment, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I haven’t been out at DBQ in a while now. I was on pool 11 this past weekend but all I can tell you is that the smallies were biting. My dad has been out up on upper pool 10 in the Harpers/Lynxville area and they have been getting gills on the wingdams yet. I’d imagine the same holds true down here at DBQ. Let me know when I should stop over for the fish fry. I love bluegills.

HA! Yeah I love eating them, just hate cleaning them. Seem to end up with a lot of cuts on my fingers for some reason. If I get enough in the freezer I will be sure to let you know. Thanks for the info. Might have to head out tonight and try to find some. Will let you know how I do if I make it out.
