I am not sure about PDC but down here in Dubuque I have been taking my boys out panfishing early in the morning around boat docks in the backwaters. Look for docks with cleaner water near deep water. With shade we usually do great till about noon. We have had a great year for all kinds of panfish Evenings are okay, but not as good.

    Hope that helps

We have been getting some really nice bluegills (big bullgills) on the wingdams down here at Dubuque and my dad has been getting them the same way up in pool 10. Just anchor above the wingdam and fish without bobbers. My dad has been getting his limit just about every time out on some wingdams up below the dam at Lynxville. He uses a small hook and smashed-up pieces of crawlers. For weight he is using split shot. Crappies can be had right now on deep snags in sloughs with a little current. Fish for them with minnows and slip bobbers from 6′ to 12′ of water in the snags.

Strickly wingdams for me, but I would prefer the perch.

another way the big bulls can be had is pulling a split shot and a small live bait hoot with a real small leech..use the trolling motor and float about the wing dams..

My dad has been getting a yellow perch or two about every time out on pool 10. I’m lucky to catch one of them a year down here around DBQ.
