Back on jumbo gils

    Finally found the Jumbo gills again.. two spots on 9 and on top of the flat just north of Clinton Street bridge on west side.. quite a few 8 & 9 inchers. if we let it sit we got the weenies, if we drug the bait steadily back to the boat we got the jumbos. Probably could have filled a live well if we were keeping them. Kind of fun to target cats and panfish for a couple of days.

    I got some real nice gills and crappies a few weeks ago in desoto bay.

    the crappies were all black crappies 10 1/2 to 13 inches and thick very thick. tasted very good as well.
