    I’m gonna run out today and do a little ice survey…..I think the Ambro Slough area should be fine…..But then again , a lot can happen to the ice with the temps we got coming.

    I am #7. Im bound to catch fish now. I think my dads coming to, were thinking about bringing the 4 wheeler to. Make sure you guys keep me posted on the ice conditions, if its to bad i pry wont bring the 4 wheeler. I think the ice should be good, as long as we dont get to much rain. I was out on monday between the bridges, pretty tough bite, but we brought home ten fish. Hopefully we can do better on saturday.

    Is it legal to have two way radios on the ice ? If it is …and someone has a set bring them along…if it’s not leave’m at home

    I hope bringing radios on the ice isn’t illegal, i’ve done it before to succesfuly run a party of tip ups and radio to the owner when they have a flag. I normally use them just to tell my partner that i’m catchin fish, so as not to alarm the wary ice-gypsie we’ve all become, am I right?

    I have both frs & gmrs radios. As far as I know they are only illegal for hunting. We use them fishing alot.

    If i was to go out Friday afternoon to check out the ice conditions would it be to late to post a meeting location Friday night ?

    Otherwise we could do the north end of Gremore and move around from there if necessary…

    As long as its before saturday at 530am, its fine with me, as that is my departure time. Its 45 in iowa city right now, all the little ponds are still iced over, only a little standing water on the edges. I just got back from scheels, had to stock a couple things, I should be ready to go for the weekend. By the way the forecast looks, bring the sunglasses and sun tan lotion.

    I am not sure anyone noticed but with all you walleye guys posting info and pics I figured all I could do was to post a new pic of myself holding a couple eyes.. Here is the a better look at the photo of the eyes.

    Okay………..so you’re sacrificing some preference for the overall happiness of the group. It’s okay that you’re not holding a couple examples of your favorite catch, but at least you got a MAN’s sweatshirt on! YEAH!!!

    Now, if you like this panfishing/icefishing adventure, it’s okay to buy some gear……….maybe even an auger and an Otter Sled. The only “fellas” that are going to give you any lip are those goofs wearin’ Packer duds! The opinion of anyone who likes colors that clash and wearin’ a cheese lid should be like spitballs to a battleship! Ricochet!!! Didn’t feeeeeeel a thaaaang!
