Well I did go out today after the fog lifted. Tried for some carp again. Got 3 catfish. Gave up on that and went crappie chasing. I ended up getting 10 of them that were 9 1/2 to 10″ Where are the biggies? I lost several right at the top of the water and plenty of throw backs went swimming to grow up for next year.

Thanks! Keep the reports comin Mary. Love reading about crappie catchin. I am either getting older or maybe even younger as panfishing is alot of fun and relaxing. Really just being on or by the water is relaxing and lots of fun.
    Thanks, Bill

Mary: I was catching most of the crappie I got in 9-13 fow in the New Albin area. You know where I mean. Straight line with a minnow and split shot did the trick. I haven’t found the big schools yet but hope they come around when I get back up there the 25th for two more weeks. Hope to see you then.
