Well, we are going back to school tomorrow so i had to find a way to get fishing one more time. I decided to go for sunnies off of a tree that i know of that always produces a ton of bluegills, rock bass, and other types of panfish. I took my buzz stick ice pole down because it is much easier for jigging in tight places. I was catching most of my fish on a yellow ice jig but switched to a pink jig after i snapped the yellow one off on a log. I caught a little more than 30 sunnies in about 20 minutes of fishing for them. I kept a few of them for My teachers fish tank when i come in tomorrow. It was fun getting them on the light tackle, and it reminded me that ice fishing is just around the corner!
Heres to some great fall fishing ahead of us
