    This Apple Canyon Lake, is it private? I’m interested in fishing it as I am in the Dubuque area often. Can you tell us more about this lake? From your reports, it sure seems like a dandy lake. THanks

    What’s a guy have to do to be able to fish it? Own land there? If so, how much do the lots cost? Thanks

    I bought my own lot back in 2000. I paid $2,800 for mine back then. I just paid my taxes today ($73), and the county says it’s worth $4k. It almost costs me each year what I paid for the lot. Then again, I have a premium slip, seasonal campsite, golf cart, and the yearly dues.
