Got all my work done and chose to take the afternoon to try Cold Springs. 
All I can say is at least it was a nice day. Was trying for some panfish. Not one single nibble. 
I believe it had to do with the VERY low water and the wind. Enjoyed watching some turtles playing on the logs and saw a couple different types of butterflies I have never seen before. 
Oh well, it sure was a great day to be out.

even if you dont catch anything on a day like today it dosent matter just as long as your holding that fishing pole
a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work! 
Forgot to say I also got to meet the new Game Warden for the area. She was really nice. She chatted with me for over a 1/2 hour about possible areas I could try to shore fish as well as what people have been catching in the areas. Well, the first “I’m checking for fishing license” of the year had to happen sometime.

Great way to look at it! I agree… it’s always nice just being outside on these warm spring days.
