I have been after crappies lately and the bite has been OK.We were out on Sunday and the big channel cats were on a minnow bite.When your bobber goes down in a flush you better start back reeling quick! We were able to land 2 on crappie tackle but it was a battle. They were 6.5 and 10.75 lbs , all you want on 6# test. As the crappies go we had some nice ones from 10 -13 inchers and some nice eaters . This is about the only time I get to watch a bobber before the tournies get rolling and I enjoy it.
