Ok, it is now offical – I”M A RIVER RAT!!
Had enough of unpacking boxes and cleaning and went out to fish late this afternoon at the fishing pier at Cold Springs Landing. The bite was rough, but got a few bluegills (all were returned thank you). Mostly just enjoyed the weather and the river.

Well, to be honest it was spelled Waukesha, but I fixed it just for you.

Also as a note, the bluegills were caught on red worms, the waxies just were not doing the trick.

Hit Cold Springs after Genoa to tyr for some bluegills again. Did not do well at all this time. Caught 3 little bass, a couple baby walleyes, and a couple dink bluegills. Did see a TON of baby fish thou, gills, bass, and walleye.

hmm..I caught about 35-40 bluegills today with a little piece of night crawler…all of the fish were caught within about an hour…Sadly, the biggest was right around 6 inches… dont even ask about the smallest: i was robbing the cradle!

…so on your “fish ruler” I am assuming the smallest one didn’t make it to the marks sorry had to say it.
