Bullheads conseidered panfish?

Anyone here make an effort to catch Bullheads? I’m been having a lot of fun figuring out the rivers Catfish and Walleys, but would also like to get into some of those tasty little buggers too.

Haywood, there are those of us (in IOWA) that consider bullheads as the state BIRD of Minnesota, so be careful.

Actually, they are quite an aggressive fish that will hit several type of baits, especially jigs, under the right conditions. Don’t know about their habits on the Mississippi. They seem to be more of a lake oriented fish. LOL
