My brother has been hitting Spring Lake this week and doing well for perch and crappie. It has been an early bite, and a minnow bite. He’s been getting them in 4′. No doubt where to fish, just look for the crowds. Again, the key for him has been the early bite. Be careful though, the rain they are calling for coupled with the warm weather doesn’t bode well for the ice.
