Crappies and Blue Gills are just going crazy. You can catch a ton and get real selective on what you want to keep. I’ve been using a small white jig for the crappies and small piece of crawler for the gills. Most we’ve kept so far is 15 combined, well under the limit. That’s plenty.
Are you using a hair jig and any spot thats good right now or dose it not matter
The gills and crappies are biting very well on pool 7 as well right now. Size is above average for the most part as well. We’ve been getting crappies on minnows under a bobber and the gills on waxies.
Try a white Glow Ez, seems to work the best. I was watching a couple other guys but couldn’t figure out what they were throwing spoon, spinner, jig? They were catching plenty too.
